Fiji Bitter is set to invest $300,000 in a series of 12 tournaments known as the Fiji Bitter Sevens Series. According to general manager Mike Spencer, the series will consist of six legs, each featuring two tournaments, and will run over six months from October to March. The event will conclude with the Marist 7s in March next year at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The schedule for the tournaments is as follows: Kadavu 7s from October 3-5, Malake 7s from October 10-12, Mataso 7s on November 15-16, Yalovata 7s from November 21-23, Yasawa 7s on December 6-7, Wairiki 7s from December 11-14, Labasa 7s from January 9-11, Savusavu 7s on January 16-18, Nahehevia 7s from February 13-15, Tabadamu 7s from February 20-22, Nawaka 7s from March 20-22, and finally, the Marist 7s from March 27-29.
