Organizers are emphasizing the importance of welcoming more teams from Savusavu and Vanua Levu, a move bolstered by an increase in prize money for bowl and shield divisions. These enhancements underscore the event’s commitment to promoting rugby development in Vanua Levu.

Tournament Organizer Pita Ralaca announced that this year’s competition will feature 32 men’s teams, 8 women’s teams, and 16 under-21 teams. This initiative reflects a dedication to expanding opportunities for aspiring athletes across various divisions.

Ralaca noted that Fiji Bitter’s ongoing support is instrumental in delivering a high-quality event for players, officials, and supporters in Vanua Levu, highlighting a collaborative effort dedicated to the sport’s growth within the community. The upcoming tournament promises to be an exciting celebration of rugby, uniting players and fans alike in a shared passion for the game.
