The Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s tournament has kicked off today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi, marking a significant milestone in the Fiji Bitter 7s series. Among the participants are 64 men’s teams, 32 from the under-18 to under-21 categories, and eight women’s teams, ensuring a robust display of talent and competition. Matches commenced at 10 AM and will continue throughout the day, with the final games slated for approximately 5:14 PM.
This year, a total of 75 bonus points are up for grabs for the winning men’s team, which will be a critical motivator for the Viti Roofing Devo Babas team, currently leading the men’s series standings with 1,012.316 points, following their impressive victories in several prior tournaments, including the Wairiki, Labasa, Savusavu, and Tabadamu 7s.
