The upcoming 49th edition of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament is set to offer a total of $45,000 in prizemoney, highlighting its significance in the rugby calendar. The event will feature slots for 93 teams, including 48 men’s teams and 9 women’s teams. Additionally, the tournament will host 24 teams in the Under-18-21 category, along with six teams in both the Girls and Boys Under-18 categories.
Prize distribution includes $10,000 for the main men’s competition, $4,500 for the women’s competition, $5,500 for the U18-21 division, and $1,500 each for the U18 Boys and Girls categories. This year’s tournament is scheduled for March 20-22 at the HFC Bank Stadium.
