The upcoming 49th edition of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament is set to offer a total of $45,000 in prize money, underlining its significance in the rugby calendar. Scheduled for March 20-22 at the HFC Bank Stadium, this year’s tournament will open slots for 93 teams, comprising 48 men’s teams and 9 women’s teams. Notably, the event will also include 24 teams in the Under-18-21 category, alongside 6 teams each in both the Girls and Boys Under-18 divisions.

The breakdown of the prize money is as follows: $10,000 for the main men’s competition, $4,500 for the women’s competition, and $5,500 for the Under-18-21 division. Additionally, both the Boys and Girls Under-18 categories will offer $1,500 each.
