The Fiji Volleyball Federation has welcomed a generous sponsorship from Qito Sportswear, which will provide training kits for the Fiji Beach Volleyball teams as they prepare for the upcoming Palau Mini Games in just two months. This support is particularly vital for a lesser-known sport like beach volleyball, enhancing the athletes’ readiness for competition.

Qito Sportswear’s Director, Asaeli Lemaki, expressed pride in contributing to the team’s preparations. The support has been deemed crucial by the Fiji Beach Volleyball section manager, emphasizing gratitude for such a partnership that boosts the athletes’ morale and equips them for the challenges ahead.

The Fiji Beach Volleyball squad includes talented athletes such as Gloria Anne Taylor, liseva Ratudina, and coach Apenisa Saukuru, among others. FASANOC (Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee) is set to announce the final team selection for the upcoming games on May 5th.

This sponsorship aligns with a broader trend seen within other sports in Fiji, where increased community support and strategic partnerships are providing athletes with improved resources for training and development. The dedication shown by the sponsors and athletes reflects a growing commitment to competitive excellence, fostering a hopeful outlook for Fiji’s representation in regional sports.

As the competition approaches, the unity and enthusiasm among Fijian athletes and their supporters are expected to make a significant impact on the Mini Games stage, showcasing their potential to excel in the international arena.
