Fiji Bati’s Bold Squad Changes Ahead of Pacific Bowl Clash!

The head coach of the Vodafone Fiji Bati, Wise Kativerata, has announced the lineup for their upcoming match against the Cook Islands in the second round of the Pacific Bowl this Saturday.

James Valevatu has been selected to start as hooker, taking over from Penioni Tagituimua, who will now be on the bench. Veteran hooker Joe Lovodua is also expected to be available, ready to bolster the forward pack if necessary.

Young forward Kylan Mafoa is set to make his highly anticipated debut, joining the interchange bench alongside other impactful players.

The backline remains unchanged, as Coach Kativerata maintains confidence in his established starters. Sunia Turuva, Maika Sivo, and Michael Jennings will lead the offensive effort, supported by Waqa Blake, Semi Valemei, Kevin Naiqama, and Kurt Donoghoe, creating a dynamic backline poised to challenge the opposition.

Captain Tui Kamikamica will spearhead the forwards alongside powerful forward Viliame Kikau, promising a strong contest against the Cook Islands.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 8:10 PM at the HFC Bank Stadium, following a World qualifying match between the Fiji Bulikula and the Cook Islands at 6 PM.
