Vodafone Fiji Bati head coach Wise Kativerata has announced the squad set to compete against the Cook Islands in the second round of the Pacific Bowl this Saturday.

James Valevatu will start as hooker, taking the place of Penioni Tagituimua, who will be on the bench. Veteran hooker Joe Lovodua is expected to be available as a reserve, providing additional strength to the forward pack if needed.

Young forward Kylan Mafoa is anticipated to make his debut, joining the interchange bench with other impactful players. The starting backline remains the same, as Coach Kativerata shows confidence in his regular players.

The backline will be led by Sunia Turuva, Maika Sivo, and Michael Jennings, with Waqa Blake, Semi Valemei, Kevin Naiqama, and Kurt Donoghoe completing a strong lineup poised to challenge the opposition.

Captain Tui Kamikamica will spearhead the forward unit alongside powerhouse Viliame Kikau, ensuring a robust performance against the Cook Islands.

The match is scheduled to begin at 8:10 PM at the HFC Bank Stadium. Earlier, the Fiji Bulikula will compete against the Cook Islands at 6 PM in a World qualifying match.
