The Digicel Fiji Baby Bula Boys are intensifying their preparations for their upcoming clash against New Zealand at the OFC U16 Men’s Championship in Tahiti.
Heading into their second match of the tournament, Head Coach Sunil Kumar discussed the team’s bold strategy and readiness to face one of Oceania’s top teams.
“New Zealand is always a favorite side in Oceania, and we respect them, so we are taking a fearless approach in this match, and the fans can expect a good performance from the boys,” Kumar said.
The team is brimming with confidence after their opening match against the Cook Islands, which provided valuable insights and a strong foundation for improvement.
“The first match taught us a lot, and we thank them for giving us a tough game,” added Kumar.
As the Baby Bula Boys gear up to face New Zealand, a positive outcome is crucial.
“It is always interesting to play a good team like NZ, and we will give our everything in this match,” Kumar emphasized. “It is very important for us as we know that a positive result will put us in a good position in the group.”
