The Fijian Cabinet has authorized the signing of a Letter of Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of the Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific Project (Gov4Res).
This agreement will provide the Ministry with essential human resource support from the UNDP, which will aid in implementing significant initiatives like the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprises Fund and the Vanua Levu Tourism Development Programme.
This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to fostering resilient development across the Pacific, focusing on supporting small businesses and promoting sustainable tourism.
