Endorsed by the Fijian Cabinet, the agreement lays a foundation for the deployment of Fijian security personnel to the Solomon Islands as needed and highlights Fiji’s readiness to deliver operational support, contribute to peacekeeping efforts, and assist with disaster relief and humanitarian operations.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka expressed his pride in the enduring partnership between Fiji and the Solomon Islands, emphasizing the fraternity and mutual support that have defined their relations over the years.
