The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team, the reigning champions, will face off against New Zealand in an exciting matchup at the upcoming McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s, set to take place in Sigatoka next week. Under the leadership of coach Osea Kolinisau, the team is placed in Pool A alongside New Zealand, Tuva Rugby, and Brothers Club.
In Pool B, the All Blacks 7s, coached by Tomasi Cama, will compete against the Fijian Drua 7s, Seattle Barbarians, and Colo West. Meanwhile, Pool C features the teams BLK Lavidi, Samoa 7s, Bula Bay 7s, and Ratu Filise. Pool D consists of the Aussie Select 7s, McDonald’s Mike Friday Select 7s, Devo Babas, and Taikita Brothers.
The tournament is scheduled to unfold from January 16 to 18 at Lawaqa Park, promising a thrilling display of rugby sevens action.
