A recent bilateral meeting between Fiji and Brazil has led to advancements in Fiji’s sugar and bio-energy sectors. Fiji’s Minister for Sugar and Multi-Ethnic Affairs, Charan Jeath Singh, engaged in discussions with Brazil’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mauro Viera, focusing on improving international relations and the sugar industry in Fiji.
According to an update from the Government, both ministers highlighted the significant opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two nations. The meeting took place during the 30th edition of Fenasucro and Agrocana in Brazil, marking an important milestone in the ongoing dialogue between Fiji and Brazil. This meeting reaffirmed their commitment to shared development goals and common interests in the sugar and bio-energy sectors.
