Fiji Airways Teams Up with FHTA for Enhanced Tourism Opportunities!

Fiji Airways has extended its partnership with the Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association (FHTA), offering discounted travel for FHTA members attending international tourism roadshows and trade events. The renewed memorandum of understanding (MoU) aims to enhance collaboration, promotional efforts, and mutual support among members.

This agreement is intended to strengthen the tourism sector by combining the resources of FHTA and Fiji Airways, ultimately fostering growth, resilience, and global competitiveness for Fiji’s tourism industry.

FHTA CEO Fantasha Lockington described the renewed MoU as a significant milestone for both the association and the wider tourism sector. She expressed enthusiasm about continuing the collaboration with Fiji Airways and exploring new opportunities to advance the sector.

Fiji Airways CEO and Managing Director Andre Viljoen highlighted that this MoU would deepen their partnership and provide valuable benefits to all FHTA members. He expressed excitement about enhancing their collaboration and contributing to the growth of Fiji’s tourism industry.

The previous MoU, which lapsed on July 31 of last year, has now been updated and will remain in effect until December 2025. The agreement, previously limited to active FHTA members such as hotels, resorts, and dive operators, has now been expanded to include all 131 members of the FHTA.
