Fiji Airways has announced the launch of full-flight WiFi, allowing passengers to enjoy complimentary messaging services throughout their journey. This upgrade, effective from November 1, replaces the previous limitation of 15-minute in-flight access, making it easier for Economy Class travelers to stay connected with family and friends via their favorite messaging apps at no extra charge.

This new service is available on the airline’s modern Airbus A350 and Boeing 737MAX aircraft. Meanwhile, Business Class passengers can already utilize full-flight browsing WiFi and can now select from enhanced value-oriented plans starting at US$7.95 (FJ$17.96).

The introduction of this service follows Fiji Airways’ recognition as a five-star airline by the Airline Passenger Experience Association, marking its third consecutive year receiving the Five Star Major Airline Award. The airline expresses its commitment to delivering exceptional connectivity and an unmatched travel experience, embodying the warm hospitality synonymous with Fijian culture.

Fiji Airways aims to lead the South Pacific in providing travelers with seamless connectivity, enhancing their overall travel experience. This initiative not only reflects the airline’s dedication to customer satisfaction but also positions it as a forward-thinking carrier in the competitive aviation market.

In summary, Fiji Airways is enhancing its in-flight services to ensure better connectivity for its passengers, embracing modern expectations for travel. This move offers a positive outlook on the future of airline travel, where staying connected during a journey is becoming increasingly important.
