Fiji Airways Plans Exciting New Route to Dallas

FIJI Airways has submitted an application to the United States Department of Transportation to start a new nonstop route between Nadi and Dallas, Texas. The airline aims to commence this service as soon as it obtains the necessary permissions.

The application, dated July 11, 2024, mentions that Fiji Airways has recently acquired new 334-seat Airbus A350-900 aircraft, enabling the expansion of its route network to include this new service between Nadi and Dallas-Fort Worth.

Fiji Airways plans to operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays once all required government approvals are secured. The airline asserts that granting this authority aligns with the public interest, as there is currently no direct service from Nadi to Dallas-Fort Worth. The proposed service will offer new travel options from a major US market, with convenient connections to the midwestern and eastern regions of the country.

Fiji Airways already operates flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
