Fiji Airways has unveiled plans for new direct flights connecting the Gold Coast with Nadi, with services set to commence on June 11th, 2026. This new route, which will operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, is designed to enhance travel options between Fiji and Australia. Utilizing the Boeing 737 MAX 8, the flights will significantly reduce travel time to just over three hours while adding more than 53,000 additional seats annually to the market.

To celebrate the launch, Fiji Airways is offering special introductory return Lite fares starting at $799 from Fiji to the Gold Coast, available for purchase until December 31st, 2025. This initiative is part of the airline’s commitment to bolstering connectivity between Fiji and Australia, facilitating easier travel for holidays, family gatherings, and business trips.

With the Gold Coast as Fiji Airways’ seventh destination in Australia, this move signals a growing recognition of the importance of tourism and business ties between the two regions. As travel demand continues to increase, the new flights are expected to contribute positively to the local economies, fostering tourism growth and enhancing cultural exchange.
