Shaenaz Voss, the former executive general of Corporate Affairs at Fiji Airways, and Sharun Ali, the general manager of Safety, Security, and Quality, were questioned at the Nadi Police Station yesterday. Both individuals arrived at the station shortly after noon, accompanied by their lawyers, and were interviewed by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department based in Suva.
Voss and Ali left the police station around 5 PM. Acting Commissioner of Police Crime Mesake Waqa confirmed that the two were interviewed under caution and subsequently released. The questioning was related to a breach of the Civil Aviation Security Regulation that occurred in 2018. The investigation is still ongoing.
