Fiji Airways has announced the cancellation of two flights between Nadi and Dallas Fort Worth due to a significant winter weather event impacting the United States. The airline has reacted to forecasts predicting heavy snow, ice, and dangerously cold temperatures in the Dallas Fort Worth region.

The flights affected include FJ890, which was set to depart from Nadi to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport last night, and the return flight FJ891, scheduled for January 24th in local U.S. time.

In light of the disruptions, Fiji Airways has assured customers that its teams are actively reaching out to all impacted passengers to facilitate updated travel arrangements and provide necessary assistance. The airline expressed regret for any inconvenience these cancellations may cause.

“The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority, and we thank our guests for their understanding,” the airline stated, emphasizing its commitment to maintaining safety amid challenging weather conditions.

Passengers planning to travel to or from the United States on upcoming Fiji Airways flights are encouraged to check their flight status regularly and stay in contact with the airline for the latest updates.
