Fiji Airports Limited is embarking on its inaugural review of airport security governance, systems, and processes. This crucial assessment is being conducted by aviation security experts from Airports Council International (ACI), with the involvement of five international aviation specialists representing South Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and Tahiti.

Fiji Airports’ Chief Executive Officer, Mesake Nawari, expressed the organization’s gratitude for being selected for such a significant review, emphasizing the important role Fiji plays in aviation within the country and the broader Blue Pacific region. Nawari highlighted that the recommendations garnered from this evaluation will facilitate enhancements to standard practices at the airport, ultimately ensuring the safety of customers.
