Under the leadership of team captain Isimeli Naqaravatu Qiolevu, the squad has been intensely preparing for their opening match against PNG, followed closely by a game against New Zealand. Qiolevu expressed his strong belief in the team’s readiness, stating, “The training was alright, and the boys are really looking forward to it. Preparation was alright, and we put our focus on our first game against PNG.”

In a tournament that emphasizes speed, discipline, and teamwork, the Fiji team is dedicated to staying focused and maintaining their faith on the field. Qiolevu stressed the core values of unity and trust among teammates, saying, “Just keep our heads up, have faith in God, and let God do the rest for us.”
