The Labasa 7s is scheduled for January 23-25 at Subrail Park, featuring not only thrilling rugby matches but also a variety of activities including meet-and-greet sessions with players, live music performances, and family-friendly interactive experiences. The goal is to foster a festive and inclusive atmosphere that welcomes fans of all ages.

Following closely, the Savusavu 7s, a tradition that spans 16 years, will occur from January 30 to February 1 at Ganilau Park. This tournament emphasizes sustainable practices with initiatives such as clean-up campaigns and eco-friendly merchandise. A notable commitment by the Savusavu Rugby Club includes plans to build five new toilets and bathrooms to enhance local sanitation facilities.

Mark Spencer, general manager of Paradise Beverages, highlighted the significance of this initiative, stating that the tournaments represent more than competition; they aim to nurture passion in the sport, unite communities, and create development opportunities for players.

In summary, the Labasa and Savusavu 7s tournaments not only promise high-quality rugby but also serve as a platform for community engagement and development, showcasing the deep connection between sport and local culture.
