The Fiji 7s and Fijiana 7s development teams are set to gain valuable experience at the upcoming Oceania 7s Championship next month. The Fiji 7s squad is placed in Pool A alongside teams from Nauru and Tuvalu. Pool B consists of Australia, Vanuatu, American Samoa, and Japan. Additionally, Pool C features the Cook Islands, Kiribati, New Caledonia, and Samoa, while Pool D includes the hosts Solomon Islands along with Tahiti, Tonga, and Niue.
In the women’s category, the Fijiana 7s team finds itself in Pool A, competing against the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. Pool B comprises American Samoa, Samoa, and Vanuatu, whereas Pool C is made up of the Cook Islands, Kiribati, and Tonga.
The championship is scheduled for December 7-8, providing both teams with an excellent opportunity to hone their skills and prepare for future competitions.
