Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is exploring the option of entering the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. While many players are set to compete for their clubs in upcoming events, there is a possibility for the national team to participate if time allows.
Kolinisau highlighted that they are already conducting strength tests to build a foundation for the 2025 series. The coach aims to incorporate younger players into the team, recognizing the developmental advantages that local competitions offer.
He stated, “If our schedule allows, we might participate in one or two tournaments. We have many young players coming in, and it’s a chance to include some of these young talents in our development.”
