Osea Kolinisau has been officially retained as the head coach of the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team for the next four years, leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. This confirmation follows extensive discussions that involved coaches, team managers, and captains, as well as an independent review.
FRU Interim Chairman Peter Mazey expressed confidence in Kolinisau’s capabilities, citing his impressive results over the past four months. “He has major plans moving forward, which he will share in due course. We are excited about the potential of our men’s Sevens team under his continued leadership and are committed to pursuing gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics,” Mazey stated.
