Three players from the Fijian 7s rugby team, which recently clinched victory at the Dubai Sevens and secured a third-place finish in Cape Town, are set to compete for the McDonald’s Mike Friday Select team at the upcoming Coral Coast 7s in Sigatoka.
The selected players include playmakers Iowane Teba and Pilipo Bukayaro, along with standout forward Ilikimi Torosi. They will be joined by five other national team members: Manueli Maisamoa, Lasaro Bogisa, Jope Tikomailepanoni, Iliavi Masori, and Ratu Vakadranu.
Additionally, these Fijian athletes will share the pitch with renowned sevens legends such as Jerry Tuwai, Rosko Specman, Harry McNulty, Luke Treharne, Matai Leuta, and Alexandre Odinga, making for an exciting and highly competitive tournament.
The Coral Coast 7s will take place at Lawaqa Park from January 16 to 18, promising thrilling matches and showcasing the talent of both emerging and established players.
