Three players from the Fiji 7s team, which recently achieved victory at the Dubai 7s and secured a third-place finish in Cape Town, are set to compete for the McDonald’s Mike Friday Select team at the upcoming Coral Coast 7s in Sigatoka.
The athletes joining the select team include playmakers Iowane Teba and Pilipo Bukayaro, along with forward Ilikimi Torosi. They are joined by five additional national squad members: Manueli Maisamoa, Lasaro Bogisa, Jope Tikomailepanoni, Iliavi Masori, and Ratu Vakadranu.
The Coral Coast 7s, which will take place at Lawaqa Park from January 16 to 18, will also feature notable 7s legends such as Jerry Tuwai, Rosko Specman, Harry McNulty, Luke Treharne, Matai Leuta, and Alexandre Odinga.
