The Fiji Rugby Union has reached a conclusive decision regarding the future direction of the Fiji 7s program following a comprehensive assessment of the team’s performances in the HSBC 7s Series and for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
FRU’s Interim Chairman Peter Mazey announced today that Osea Kolinisau will remain the head coach of the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team.
Kolinisau will serve as the head coach of the Men’s Sevens Team for the next four years.
“Kolinisau’s impressive results over the past four months have showcased his capability and vision for the future,” Mazey stated.
He expressed excitement about the potential of the Men’s Sevens Team under Kolinisau’s continued leadership and emphasized their commitment to pursuing gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
