Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is contemplating the entry of the national team into one or two local tournaments this year. With many players set to compete for their clubs in upcoming events, there may still be an opportunity for the national team to participate if the schedule permits.
Kolinisau stated, “We’re already conducting strength tests to build our foundation for the 2025 series.” He emphasized the importance of integrating younger players into the national squad, highlighting the developmental advantages of engaging in local competitions.
“If our schedule allows, we might participate in one or two tournaments. We have many young players coming in, and it’s a chance to include some of these young talents in our development,” he added.
