The Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s team has demonstrated remarkable prowess in the HSBC SVNS Series, achieving a podium finish for the fifth consecutive tournament after securing third place in Vancouver. In the bronze medal playoff held at BC Place, Fiji triumphed over Australia with a score of 29–10, showcasing their impressive consistency throughout the season.
Since the commencement of the 2025/26 campaign, the Fijian squad has consistently reached the podium at every tournament, reflecting their strong performance across the series. In the playoff match against Australia, Fiji started with explosive energy, with Terio Veilawa scoring the first try and Viwa Naduvalo and George Bose quickly following suit to establish a commanding lead.
Fiji maintained control of the match, adding further tries from Nacani Boginisoko and Apete Narogo to widen their advantage. Although Australia answered back with tries from Maurice Longbottom and Jayden Blake, Fiji’s early dominance ultimately secured their position on the podium once again.
