The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team, the reigning champions, faces a formidable challenge ahead as they have been placed in the same pool as New Zealand for the upcoming McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s tournament in Sigatoka next week. The team, under the guidance of coach Osea Kolinisau, will compete in Pool A alongside the Kiwis, Tuva Rugby, and Brothers Club.
Meanwhile, the All Blacks 7s, coached by Tomasi Cama, find themselves in Pool B where they will compete against Fijian Drua 7s, Seattle Barbarians, and Colo West. Pool C consists of BLK Lavidi, Samoa 7s, Bula Bay 7s, and Ratu Filise, while Pool D includes the Aussie Select 7s, McDonald’s Mike Friday Select 7s, Devo Babas, and Taikita Brothers.
