The Fiji 7s team, under the guidance of coach Osea Kolinisau, has made a remarkable start to the HSBC SVNS Series, currently securing the top position after their performances in the Dubai and Cape Town tournaments. Fiji celebrated a gold medal victory in Dubai, earning 20 points, followed by a bronze medal in Cape Town which brought in an additional 16 points. This cumulative effort places them at the forefront of the standings with a total of 36 points.
Spain is in second place with 32 points, while France and South Africa are closely trailing, both with 30 points tied in third and fourth positions, respectively. New Zealand occupies the sixth position with 24 points.
With the teams heading home for a well-deserved break, they will soon begin preparations for the upcoming Perth 7s set for early next year.
