The Fiji 7s Development team has advanced to the final of the Oceania Rugby Sevens Championship after a decisive 38-0 victory over Tuvalu in the semifinals. The match, however, presented its challenges as Tuvalu had previously upset expectations by defeating Japan Development in the quarterfinals.

Fiji started strong, racing to a commanding 24-0 lead by halftime, thanks to two tries from Viliame Naikausa and additional tries from Manueli Maisamoa and Sakiusa Siqila.
