Fifteen police officers have recently returned from their deployment on United Nations peacekeeping missions, reflecting their commitment to international security efforts. Among them, thirteen officers served with the UN Mission in South Sudan, while one participated in the Multinational Force and Observers, and another with the UN Interim Security Force for Abyei.

SSP Ulaiasi Ravula, the Director of International Relations, expressed gratitude towards the returning officers on behalf of Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu, commending their dedication and professionalism throughout their missions.

These officers are currently engaged in a Post Deployment Reintegration Program, designed to support their transition back into their regular roles, which will culminate on January 22nd. This program is crucial for ensuring that returning peacekeepers can effectively reintegrate and apply their valuable experiences gained during their time in service.

The successful return of these officers, and the emphasis on their reintegration, highlights the ongoing commitment to maintaining peace and security on a global scale. Their dedication serves as an inspiring example of service and resilience, fostering hope for collaborative international peace efforts.
