The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has decided not to pursue legal action against former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum regarding allegations of violating Section 24 (5) of the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding, and Disclosures) Act 2013. Investigations concluded that there was insufficient evidence to support claims of a breach.

Additionally, FICAC informed the Fijian Elections Office on July 24, 2024, of its intention to close the case related to these allegations. The commission also made recommendations to the Elections Office suggesting areas for revision and improvement to prevent similar issues in the future and enhance clarity and support during investigations.
