A collaborative effort by the Police Mobile Force (PMF), the Fiji Detector Dog Unit (FDDU), and the Divisional Operations Team led to a successful operation in Nadonumai, where three individuals were arrested on suspicion of illegal drug possession.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Livai Driu reported that the operation involved two coordinated raids in the area. One of the raids resulted in the discovery of substances believed to be marijuana, along with stolen electronics and equipment that appeared to be used for drug packaging.

The three men are currently detained at Lami Police Station while investigations proceed. ACP Driu highlighted that the police’s efforts this festive season are focused on disrupting criminal networks and intensifying actions against illegal activities through targeted raids. He also appealed to the community to assist by reporting any suspicious behaviors to Crime Stoppers at 919.
