The Fiji Police Force has announced that the relatives of a man who was allegedly involved in a fatal accident in Navua last week have assisted investigators in identifying him. The Traffic Director, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, confirmed that the victim was a 27-year-old resident of Lautoka.
According to SSP Divuana, the victim’s uncle reached out after seeing a public appeal for information. “We appreciate the community’s efforts in sharing our request for information, which is now no longer needed,” he stated.
