Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica has affirmed the Coalition Government’s commitment to supporting farmers, particularly in enhancing the efficiency of sugar cane farming and expanding the economy. During his tour in the Western Division, Kamikamica presented sugarcane harvesters to the Wailailai and Koronubu Cooperatives located in Ba.

These new machines are anticipated to assist farmers in addressing labor shortages in the cane belt regions, ultimately facilitating a faster and easier production process.

This initiative reflects the government’s proactive approach to improving agricultural practices and enhancing the livelihoods of farmers. By investing in modern equipment, the Coalition Government is working to bolster the agricultural sector, which is vital for the nation’s economy. This support can lead to increased productivity and, in turn, foster greater economic stability and growth for the farming community.
