Local celebrity chef Lance Seeto will be fondly remembered not only for his remarkable culinary talent but also for his contributions as an educator, storyteller, friend, and mentor. This was articulated by Marc McElrath, managing director of McDonald’s Fiji, during the moving funeral service that took place yesterday at the Dignified Crematorium in Davuilevu.
Friends, family, and colleagues gathered to pay their respects to Mr. Seeto, who was found deceased in his Suva apartment on October 28. Authorities have confirmed that foul play is not suspected in his passing.
In his eulogy, Mr. McElrath spoke of Mr. Seeto as an extraordinary individual with an unwavering passion for creativity and food.
