VISION Group-owned DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Fiji on Sonasali Island will be adding an additional thirty-two rooms to its four-star property.

Carey Osborne, cluster general manager of Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa, announced this development at the AHICE Fiji Investment in Tourism Summit media session in Nadi on Friday.

Osborne stated that Vision Group, the hotel proprietor, has engaged architects and interior designers for the new rooms.

“The new additions will feature more traditional hotel-style rooms along with bures, which are our most popular room type,” said Osborne.

The project is still in its early stages but there is an eagerness to move forward as swiftly as possible.

Osborne expressed high confidence in Hilton Hotel Fiji-owned properties.

“It’s a completely unique experience. A short three-minute boat ride brings you to instant serenity and tranquility,” said Osborne. “With offerings like sunset cruises, horse rides on the beach, and traditional bures, it provides a distinctive stay.”

The expansion promises to enhance the resort’s appeal, making it an even more attractive destination for visitors seeking both luxury and authentic experiences.
