VISION Group-owned DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Fiji on Sonasali Island will be expanding its four-star property with the addition of thirty-two new rooms.
Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa’s cluster general manager Carey Osborne announced this development during the AHICE Fiji Investment in Tourism Summit media session held in Nadi on Friday.
Osborne explained that Vision Group, the hotel proprietor, has already engaged architects and interior designers for the new rooms. “It will feature more traditional hotel-style rooms alongside our popular bures,” she said.
“The project is still in its early stages, but there are indications that they are aiming to proceed as quickly as possible.”
Osborne highlighted the strong confidence and enthusiasm among Hilton Hotel Fiji properties. “It’s a unique experience with a short three-minute boat ride, offering immediate serenity and tranquility,” she noted.
The resort also offers activities such as sunset cruises, horse rides on the beach, and accommodations in traditional bures, which contribute to its distinctive charm.
