Former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is set to appear at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) headquarters in Suva this afternoon. This has been confirmed by both the CID and Sayed-Khaiyum’s Senior Counsel, Davenesh Sharma. Sayed-Khaiyum is expected to be questioned about a case involving the unlawful carriage of firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport on 8 October 2018.
