Rajesh Patel, the Director of R.C. Manubhai & Co. Ltd, has revealed plans to build a new clubhouse for the Ba Golf Club, aimed at opening next year. This announcement was made during the inaugural day of the 54th R.C. Manubhai Ba Golf Open, held at the FSC Golf Club.
“Next year marks our 55th anniversary, so we intend to make it a memorable occasion,” Patel stated, highlighting the initiative. The proposed clubhouse will include a VIP room on the upper floor, amongst other facilities, with hopes to see these plans realized by next year.
Patel also took pride in R.C. Manubhai’s long-standing support for the Ba Golf Open, noting that this year marks the 54th consecutive year of sponsorship. He remarked on the impressive turnout of 120 participants, which is one of the largest numbers in recent years for the event. “This event has evolved into more than just a golf tournament; it’s also about networking and enjoying the atmosphere,” he added.
The company is dedicated to providing a positive experience for all attendees. “As sponsors, we want to ensure that participants who travel from afar are well taken care of, enjoying both the competitive spirit of the game and the camaraderie that comes with it,” Patel emphasized.
In addition, Patel, who is also the president of Fiji FA, commended the excellent condition of the golf course. “The course is in fantastic shape, and players are undoubtedly having a great time. Golf is a unique sport where you compete against the course rather than other players, which is at the heart of the game,” he said.
This exciting development not only underscores the dedication of R.C. Manubhai to enhancing the golfing experience but also signifies a growing commitment to promoting sports and community engagement within the area.
In summary, the forthcoming clubhouse at the Ba Golf Club, set to coincide with its 55th anniversary, complements the rich tradition of the R.C. Manubhai Ba Golf Open, providing a platform for socializing and sportsmanship while ensuring a top-notch experience for all participants. This initiative reflects a positive step towards community development and sporting excellence.
