The 9th South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) is set to occur at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa in Nadi, Fiji, on May 9–10, 2025, as announced by the Pacific Tourism Organization (SPTO).
This notable event follows the successful SPTE 2024, which was hosted at the Sheraton Fiji Resort & Spa on Denarau Island.
The upcoming SPTE will coincide with other important regional tourism events, including TRENZ 2025, happening from May 6–8, and the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), scheduled for April 28 to May 1, 2025. These overlapping events are expected to attract significant attention from the Pacific tourism sector and beyond.
Christopher Cocker, CEO of SPTO, expressed his excitement for the 2025 event, highlighting the organization’s commitment to promoting innovation and collaboration in Pacific tourism.

This marks the second time the SPTE will be held in Fiji, following seven successful years in Australia and New Zealand.
