The Vodafone Super Deans national finals are set to take place at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, beginning with the quarter-finals next weekend.
The highly-anticipated under-18 category will feature electric match-ups as teams have learned of their opponents following the national playoffs and Western Zone finals held over the weekend.
2023 Deans winner Queen Victoria School will go head-to-head with Southern Zone’s third-seeded team Marist Brothers High School. Marist secured their spot in the nationals after a 20-7 victory against Bua Central College in the playoffs held on Saturday in Labasa.
Western Zone champion Ratu Navula College will face Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School, while Western Zone’s second seed Cuvu College will compete against Ratu Kadavulevu School.
Southern Zone winner Nasinu Secondary School is set to play Tailevu North College, who finished third in the Eastern Zone.
Queen Victoria School had previously triumphed over Natabua Secondary School in the 2023 Deans under-18 final.
Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union vice president Savenaca Muamua confirmed that the quarters, semi-finals, and final will all take place at the national stadium in Laucala Bay, Suva next weekend, on Saturday, August 10.
