The 2024 Viti Futsal Cup is set to begin with thirty-four teams gathering at the FMF Gymnasium and Fiji FA Futsal Court in Vatuwaqa from July 19-21.
Teams will compete across six categories: Under 10 Boys, Under 12 Boys, Under 12 Girls, Under 14 Boys, Under 16 Boys, and Under 16 Girls.
This year’s lineup features ten teams from Australia and two from the Solomon Islands, along with strong local representation: six teams from the FFA Suva Centre, six from the FFA Rewa Centre, four from the FFA Labasa Centre, and six from the Fiji FA Ba Centre.
Fiji FA Futsal Head Coach Jerry Sam said the tournament will help nurture young talent from different regions and age categories.
“With international teams from Australia and the Solomon Islands joining in, it promises to be a competitive and thrilling tournament,” said Sam.
“It is a great opportunity for our players to showcase their talents and learn more about the game.”
