Defending champions Dominion Brothers have successfully advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2025 McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s Youth Division, securing their spot by winning both of their pool matches. Their victory underscores their commitment not only to defend their title but also to foster young talent within their squad.

Joining the Dominion Brothers in the quarter-finals is the Japan U-18 side, who celebrated a win against Village Boys with a score of 24-14 earlier today. Additionally, the overseas-based SunnyBank team reached the quarter-finals after a narrow victory over Saunaka, finishing with a score of 17-15.

The quarter-finals for the youth division kicked off this afternoon at 3:30 PM, set to feature exciting matchups that showcase rising stars in the sport. In the women’s division, the New Zealand Women’s 7s team and Mount Masada have emerged as favorites, while the Fiji 7s team, Australia Select 7s, and New Zealand 7s team are the top-seeded teams in the men’s division.

Other teams, including Mike Friday Selection, Drua 7s, Manu Samoa, Ratu Filise, and BLK Lavidi, are still vying for a chance to advance, needing victories in their remaining pool games.
