Excitement builds as Fiji announces teams for upcoming tournament

Eight teams have been confirmed by the Fiji Football Association to compete in the Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants Tournament this year.

Nasinu and Tailevu Naitasiri will not be participating in the BOG Tournament 2024.

Despite Nasinu’s recent 1-0 victory over Ba in round 12 over the weekend, which pushed them up to eighth place, they will not take part in the BOG.

Suva, the host city, qualifies for the tournament even though they currently sit in ninth place.

The Digicel Fiji Premier League points table remains highly competitive, especially between Rewa FC and Labasa FC.

The pool draw for the BOG Tournament is set for tomorrow.

The group stages of the BOG will be played from July 26-28, followed by the knockout stages a week later at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
