Jerome Narayan, the goalkeeper for the Bula Boys, will take the field for the AuFFI All Stars during the upcoming 2024 Flick Hygiene Pacific Community Cup. The tournament begins tomorrow at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
The talented 22-year-old, who plays in Sydney, has showcased exceptional skills while representing Fiji, having participated in all of the national team’s matches during the World Cup qualifiers.
The AuFFI All Stars team boasts several notable players, including Papua New Guinea’s national striker Tommy Semmy, Japanese international So Kataoka, and former Fiji U20 representatives Nickel Chand, Gulam Razool, Clarence Hussein, and Abdullah Aiyas. The squad also features Manasa Nawakula from Tavua, defender Geary Kubu from Tailevu Naitasiri, and former Lautoka left-back Aaron Edward, rounding out a strong 22-member team.
Adding to the team’s versatility and depth are guest players Nicholas Olsen, Jacob Tratt, Jalil Oscar Regague, and Azad Kasumovie. The team is coached by Eswa ‘Ninja’ Nadan and managed by former Nadroga representative Moshin Javed Nabi.
The AuFFI All Stars will kick off their campaign against Navua, with the match scheduled for 6:15pm tomorrow.
