Approximately 13,975 students registered to take the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) will commence their exams tomorrow across 177 examination centers throughout Fiji. Notably, three new examination centers have been added this year: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in Suva, Nakorotubu Secondary School in Ra, and Muaira Methodist College in Lautoka Yasawa.
The FY12CE is scheduled to run from November 12 to 22. Aseri Radrodro, the Minister for Education, has extended his best wishes to the students, emphasizing the importance of communal support during this critical time.
“As you prepare for and approach your external examination, remember that this is not just an assessment of your hard work and determination, but a vital step toward achieving your future goals,” Mr. Radrodro remarked. He encouraged students to trust in their preparation and approach the exams with confidence and focus, acknowledging that this period can be both thrilling and daunting.
Radrodro also highlighted the crucial role that parents, guardians, and the community play in supporting students’ morale. He advised students to prioritize their well-being, ensure they get adequate rest, and maintain a positive mindset throughout the examination period.
This examination period represents not just an academic challenge, but an opportunity for students to showcase their efforts and set the foundation for their future paths. With community support and self-care, students can navigate this journey with resilience and optimism.
